The standalone space that was home to the former Busy B Bakery and more recently, The Sour Boule (which moved right next door) will now be a floral boutique. Texas Legacy Florals & Gifts invites you to the grand opening festivities on April 23. It’s located at 3701 Southwest Boulevard.
Texas Legacy Florals & Gifts first announced its addition of a Fort Worth location in January. Now, its grand opening takes place on April 23, beginning at 4 pm.
Look for the vintage 1963 Cadillac, which will be covered in flowers for the occasion. The entryway will be covered in over 7000 stems of flowers as well. Peruse the new flower shop and gifts store, with a beverage and small bites, plus music, a palomino horse, and cowboys passing out yellow roses.
American Idol’s Cate Gartner will be on hand at the grand opening as well.
What You’ll Find Inside

At Texas Legacy, the floral arrangements are imaginative and eye-popping. They offer same-day delivery in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. And, the florists are ready to share your vision in bringing weddings and special events to life.
On the gifty side of things, they have a collection of branded candles in clean-burning scents like sweet tobacco, trinity campfire, and frontier bloom. They stock leather and suede items, including a crocodile-clad laptop case, and stylish suede money clips. There are lovely vases to choose from as well.
The Heart Behind the Business
Texas Legacy Florals & Gifts opens this week on Benbrook Traffic Circle.
Owners George and Kathy Robertson are retirement age and love being parents and grandparents. So, why open a new business at this stage in life?
“I’ve been accused of being a serial entrepreneur,” George Robertson says in a recent post. He says he has started close to thirty businesses in his career, but Texas Legacy Floral doesn’t feel like a job. He says that he is passionate about flowers and wanted to give this gift to Fort Worth.
“I just want it to be an experience they [people] haven’t had before,” says Kathy Robertson. “We just want to share God’s creation. We want to share his love with our community.”
