What was formerly known as The Southlake Hotel has undergone a multi-million-dollar transformation featuring reimagined interiors, vibrant dining, and refreshed guest rooms. This is more than a glow-up ― it’s a complete transformation. Step inside The Elmore Hotel.
Southlake’s first boutique property is the latest addition to Tribute Portfolio, Marriott Bonvoy’s collection of independent hotels. Coury Hospitality has opened The Elmore Hotel. Get ready for moody and modern color palettes, dramatic artwork, and bold interior design choices.
“The Elmore represents our commitment to bringing design-forward, lifestyle hotels to cities across Texas,” said Paul Coury, CEO of Coury Hospitality. “Southlake deserves a property that feels authentic to the city while offering memorable experiences for both guests and locals, a true living room for the community.”
After all, Dallas-based Coury is well known for imagining boutique and elegant hotels. They are also the creators of Grapevine’s wondrous Hotel Vin, which announced new additions that will effectively double the size and offerings there soon.
Inside The Elmore’s Enticing Spaces

The Elmore is “rooted in Southern charm, elevated by intentional design, and inspired by community,” they say. It will aim to be a social hub for locals as well as travelers.
“The hotel will offer a calendar of locally-driven experiences designed to foster community – from Afternoon Tea and Mahjong Social to curated wellness programs,” The Elmore promises. “Highlights include Dragon Pilates by the pool.”
Design inspiration for the 175-room hotel was drawn from the American Elm tree ― “a timeless symbol of growth and connection.” You’ll find that expressed through warm wood grains, lush greenery, rich earth tones. Plus, there are artful touches throughout the guest rooms and public spaces.
The Elmore’s dramatic lounge area is clad in rich forest green from its coffered ceiling to its walls, moldings, and bookcases. Guests are embraced by the hue. The hotel’s hidden speakeasy, called Social Outlaw (more on this in a bit), is similarly wrapped in warm woods. From the beams overhead to the furnishings and flooring, it’s studded with pops of orange and turquoise.
Iconic Artworks by Celebrated Artists

Fans of acclaimed photographers David Yarrow and Tyler Shields will feel right at home. Their eye-catching works have been curated by Samuel Lynne Galleries, adding to the upscale atmosphere and drama throughout the property.
Fort Worth recently welcomed Gold Mountain Gallery to Museum Place, where collectors of David Yarrow flock to get their hands on his new releases and limited editions. Yarrow has captured Fort Worth’s rugged Stockyards District as well, utilizing the famous sign as a backdrop and inside the historic White Elephant Saloon.

The Elmore is home to refined dining at Sagewind, as well as handcrafted cocktails at its hidden speakeasy, Social Outlaw.
The hotel’s signature culinary concept, Sagewind, features a “menu that showcases seasonal Texas ingredients, alongside a menu of locally-inspired cocktails such as the standout Southlake Spritz.”
Social Outlaw, they say, “offers an intimate escape of craft cocktails, live music, and unforgettable evenings. With weekly culinary experiences, along with guided beverage tastings.” Menus have not been posted yet.
The Elmore will host meetings, events, and celebrations with its “5,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor venues.” Southlake’s first boutique hotel has added a new note to the city’s growing lodging and hospitality sector.
