Welcome to Fort Worth Digital Diary, where the BEST begins.
One of Fort Worth’s newest luxury hotels, The Crescent Hotel opened in November of 2023, adding its swank accommodations, ample banquet space, and top-notch dining to the heart of the Cultural District. And, the showplace won a prestigious design award as well ― earning props from Interior Design Magazine.
The five-story property was recognized for its sleek interior design by Interior Design Magazine ― in its 2024 Best of Year Award in the Chain Hotel Category ― adding a fancy new feather to the cap of The Crescent Hotel.
Natural materials, include stone, wood, metal, concrete, and locally sourced brick ― blending with dramatic finishes, unlimited views, and the lobby’s eye-catching and angular fireplace, finished in lustrous white Venetian plaster.

Guest Room Luxuries
Along with 200 guestrooms, and 12 luxury suites, the project includes Crescent Residences (its 169 luxury residential units), plus on-site amenities including the central courtyard, and ample meeting and banquet spaces. The Crescent Hotel unveiled the cuisine of executive chef Preston Paine ― inside both Emilia’s and Blue Room at Emilia’s, and its private dining rooms.
The hotel’s art collection is something special as well ― including works commissioned especially for the space ― ensuring the ambiance fits right into Fort Worth’s notable Museum District. Extravagant textures and lavish lighting include the lobby’s delicate gingko bouquet chandeliers dangling overhead, and The Blue Room’s stunning rock crystal chandelier.
Each elegant guest room is filled with natural light and floor-to-ceiling window views, furnished with rich marble accents, custom artwork, minibars, cozy lounge seating, and spacious workstations.

The Crescent Hotel Earns Design Recognition
“Now in its 19th year, the Best of Year Awards honor outstanding projects across the design industry, and this recognition is a testament to the incredible thought, creativity, and attention to detail that went into bringing The Crescent Hotel to life,” they say.
“The Crescent Hotel’s design, inspired by our prestigious neighbors in the Cultural District — the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Amon Carter Museum — creates a gallery-like experience showcasing an impressive art collection. From the grand spaces to the much-loved Emelia’s, every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home,” according to release.
Owner John Goff is still adding to Crescent Real Estate’s Fort Worth footprint with more office space (now the corporate headquarters of Crescent itself) as well as the first-ever Canyon Ranch Wellness Club, and the newly opened Chumley House ― the lavish, British-themed restaurant in the adjoining Crescent Tower, which opened in late November. It marks Dallas-based Duro Hospitality’s first concept in Fort Worth.
Visitors, diners, and overnight guests will enjoy the designer details and artistic elements from the moment they enter the lobby of The Crescent Hotel ― relaxing in the Circle Bar or being enveloped by the plush blue walls of The Blue Room at Emilia’s. Kudos to The Crescent.
