In October, something new appeared at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth. Simply called Conservatory, this luxury event venue became the luxury hotel’s central feature. The former open atrium is now a climate-controlled and elegant space to host parties of all types.
“Nestled inside the iconic Crescent Hotel Fort Worth, the newly unveiled Conservatory is an event space that redefines luxury and flexibility in Texas,” according to a release. This 4,270-square-foot venue blends architectural innovation, natural light, and cutting-edge technical capabilities to create unforgettable experiences for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and more.”
Chef Preston Paine’s delightful tasting menu inside The Blue Room isn’t the only thing that’s new at The Crescent. Its dramatic Conservatory adds a new dimension to party planning at the hotel, which was named the No. 1 Hotel in Texas by Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards in 2024.

When the art-filled, five-story Crescent debuted two years ago in November of 2023, its central area was an open-air courtyard. It was completely private yet open to the elements. Consequently, large events began using tents to enclose the space for climate control. Now, the Crescent Hotel has chosen to make it a permanent structure, better serving its special events clientele.
Further, Conservatory adds a smashing new venue to the rest of the hotel’s 14,000 square feet of special event space. Like the rest of the hotel, the Conservatory was designed by OZ Architects.
“Conservatory is not just another event space, but rather a completely new concept in Texas,” said Thomas Becker, managing director at The Crescent Hotel Fort Worth. “From its architectural innovation to its experiential possibilities, it offers a level of sophistication, flexibility, and scale that simply does not exist anywhere else in the region.”
More Options In A Unique Space

“It accommodates up to 400 guests for receptions, 270 for banquet-style dinners, and approximately 350 for wedding ceremonies,” they say. “Its bold daylight panels provide museum-quality natural lighting while shielding guests from UV rays, supporting live florals and greenery, and creating a sleek, minimalistic aesthetic.
Conservatory is flexible with plenty of options for many types of events as well.
“Every element of Conservatory was conceived to enable limitless creativity. Strategically placed rigging points accommodate large-scale installations, like a jumbotron LED wall brings immersive experiences to life, and versatile lighting and audiovisual capabilities ensure the space adapts to every vision—whether a wedding, corporate product launch, fundraising gala, or curated exhibits.”
“The rigging points and power capabilities within the ceiling structure eliminate the need of ground support or power cables, allowing guests’ attention to focus on the more purposeful content. Its neutral, modern palette provides a striking blank canvas, enhanced by a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor elements.”
