As the rodeo gets ready to ride, there are a lot of special menus and pop-up shopping opportunities to explore. Along with Fort Worth’s nearby luxury hotels (Bowie House and The Crescent), there are plenty of other Rodeo-centric dining opportunities, not to be missed. Here are a few:

Hotel Dryce

Hotel Dryce
Hotel Dryce welcomes Rodeo goers to chill in the lobby bar.

Located just across Montgomery Street from Dickies Arena, Hotel Dryce invites rodeo fans to make the lobby their home base during rodeo season. Every Monday from 6 pm to 9 pm, they host Mahjong games. Kick back at Turntable Tuesdays, or enjoy a vinyl listening session on Wednesdays (in conjunction with FWSSR). Plus, sip an expertly crafted cocktail.

Duchess at The Nobleman

From January 16 through February 7, Duchess is offering a small set of Stock Show–inspired dishes alongside the regular menu. You’ll find Rodeo Sliders ($12) with wagyu beef, cheddar, crispy onions, and Southside sauce at the bar. Or settle in for a 16-ounce bone-in Cowboy Ribeye ($125) served à la carte in the restaurant and bar.

Café Modern

Celebrate the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo with Texas-inspired specials for brunch, lunch, and dinner at Café Modern. Mid-day meals include the Cowtown Steak Patty Melt with ground striploin and brisket, local smoked mozzarella, fried onions, Worcestershire aioli on Texas toast, and a side of creamy potato salad. A dinner special includes a five-ounce grilled tenderloin with certified angus beef with bacon-caramelized Texas onions, bourbon demi-glace, and mashed potatoes. And, don’t miss the Código old-fashioned or the TCU-inspired mocktail.

Carter, Jr. Exhibits Hall. Think elk sausage with jalapeño cheddar grits, or a chicken-fried steak with cracked pepper gravy.

Pulido’s Rodeo Kitchen

This limited menu edition of Pulido’s Mexican can be found inside The Moncrief Building at the stock show. It’s a place to snag a beef enchilada dinner, a soft taco plate, or chicken quesadillas and the like.

Don Artemio & Dos Mares

Both Don Artemio and the new coastal-inspired restaurant Dos Mares, have released their Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo specials. Both restaurants are within walking distance of the Midway. They’ll offer a three-course prix fixe menu. At Don Artemio it runs $69, and at Dos Mares, its $59. It’s a great deal, and with their location so close to the action, it’s time to make your reservation now.
