The newest designer destination to land in Fort Worth’s Clearfork neighborhood is filled with the singular style of a fashion icon ― CH Carolina Herrera. Adding to the likes of luxury designers, including Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Saint Laurent, the gorgeous new CH Carolina Herrera boutique should feel right at home at The Shops at Clearfork

It marks the first CH Carolina Herrera location in Fort Worth. Texas now claims five of its own (one in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, and even an outlet in San Marcos). The first CH, filled with Herrera’s lifestyle and fashion, opened in Madrid, Spain, in 2001.

Inside Fort Worth’s new showroom, you’ll find a lovely layout that winds you through the highlights of the fashion house ― with separate rooms dedicated to men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and evening styles, as well as must-have accessories for each season, including jewelry, handbags, eyewear, outerwear, and shoes.

Walls are lined with racks of clothing, floor-to-ceiling stacks of colorful and neatly folded shirts, plus wooden jewel boxes filled with accessories and jewelry.

Equestrian Influence Is Right At Home

Everyone knows Fort Worth as Cowtown with its wild and Western mystique, but we are also a prime spot for annual equestrian events such as the Arabian, paint, and cutting horse shows and competitions that have long been held in town.

Horse culture is a big deal in Fort Worth. So, when you wander into CH at Clearfork and see the gorgeous riding saddle displayed alongside knee-high Doma Insignia flat riding boots, it speaks to the heart. After all, Doma means dressage in Spanish.

The Polo collar makes a statement in a flowy fuschia pink crepe top. Other equestrian statements by Carolina Herrera can be found in the Fusta jewelry pieces in silver or gold tones. The training-crop is shaped into rings, earrings, or bracelets. The new Royal Collection is a campaign featuring Edie Campbell, the striking British model who is also an accomplished equestrian.

A full range of handbags include equestrian motifs like the Doma insignia, some with Fusta-shaped handles, others featuring the horse bit shaped Charro insignia.

CH Carolina Herrera Both Classic & Luxurious

Herrera’s designs have specialized in classic shapes (lean trousers, pencil skirts, A-line ball dresses, and nipped-waist jackets) ever since she burst on the scene in the 1980s. Attention to detail and sourcing of materials includes soigné silk faille and jacquard, luxurious taffeta and mink. This season features bold colors and soft florals.

Something special to the Clearfork store is a collection of limited edition Bimba bags in an eclectic mix of raffia, denim, and silk satin. The term of endearment ― bimba ― translates to “my darling.” The popular line includes a range of clutches, crossbody bags, and shoulder bags.

New fashion finds are popping up all over Fort Worth. Clearfork’s new CH Carolina Herrera is filled with singular style ― it’s British aristocracy meets Venezuelan polo matches and old Hollywood glam that speaks to the heart of any world traveler. It’s a bit of all that. And now it’s in Fort Worth.
