Fort Worth’s new fashion forward boutique, Forty Five Ten, brings with it an all-new in-store dining concept: Café Mirador. The intimate dining venue brings a taste of downtown Dallas to Fort Worth’s Cultural District when it arrives this September.

Let’s face it, Fort Worth fashionistas have long been styled by Forty Five Ten and have dropped into its Café Mirador for refreshment in Dallas. Why not bring the party to Cowtown? Well, that is the plan, as Headington Companies is readying both for a September opening in Museum Place, located near the new Gold Mountain Gallery.

“Debuting in Fort Worth’s growing cultural and culinary corridor, Café Mirador introduces a distinct new chapter in the evolution of the beloved downtown Dallas restaurant Mirador,” according to Plug Public Relations.

“While rooted in the same dedication to seasonality, originality, and modern American cuisine, Café Mirador is designed as a more intimate, lifestyle-driven expression of the brand — crafted specifically for its setting within the new Forty Five Ten boutique in the Cultural District.”

Café Mirador will take up 1,000 square feet in Fort Worth, compared to the flagship’s 3,000 square feet in Dallas. The Fort Worth “café is intentionally more intimate, offering a boutique-style environment that complements the adjacent retail environment of Forty Five Ten.”

“We know how much our clients enjoy making a shopping excursion a social outing, so we see Café Mirador as integral to how we’ll welcome the community every day,” says Forty Five Ten president Anne Wallach.

Modern American Meals in a Design Forward Space

After a successful day with your personal stylist, why not celebrate with a Mirador Margarita?

They anticipate its vibe to be a more relaxed experience. Ideal for “lingering lunches, margarita meet-ups, and champagne-fueled brunches. The mood is fashion-forward and sociable, casual yet elevated and offers the ease of an impromptu nosh whether shopping or simply dining.”

“The emphasis on seasonality, originality, and modern American cuisine that has made Mirador successful remains at the heart of everything we do,” says Executive Chef Travis Wyatt, who also oversees the culinary direction at Café Mirador.

“For this new café expression, we’re thinking a little lighter: champagne, tasting bites, elevated lunches,” Wyatt says. “We want to create a relaxed space where friends gather for a good time before or after shopping. And of course, there will be caviar.”

“As the “little sister” to the acclaimed Mirador in Dallas, the café will spotlight its most beloved modern American dishes, alongside fresh-baked pastries from Commissary,” They say.

Cafe Mirador will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. The menu highlights favorites like the ahi tuna cornettes, a lavish lobster roll, the hearty farro bowl, and crave-worthy chicken bites. The Fort Worth location also introduces pastries and weekend brunch offerings such as salmon gravlax with caviar, quiche Florentine, and eggs Benny.

Expect champagne and wine offerings, and don’t forget to order a signature Mirador Margarita with  splash of crème de violette, almond, maraschino and habanero.

Café Mirador will be located at 3220 West 7th Street, adjoining Forty Five Ten boutique, with seating for 33.

Fort Worth architecture firm Ibanez Shaw designed the space. They consulted with “SWOON, the studio, who redesigned the Dallas restaurant space.”

“In imagining Café Mirador, Headington Companies intended to transport to Fort Worth a sense of the Dallas restaurant space that is a light-filled, airy respite,” they say. “With a row of burl wood banquette seating lining the large, street-facing window, Café Mirador embraces natural light to create a setting for chic meals and stylish special occasions.”

Custom stone blends with white oak dining tables surrounded by café style Thonet-inspired dining chairs. Burl millwork details serve as a backdrop for the real silk Woka sconces. The space includes a white oak floor, a travertine-clad bar, and accents of chrome, velvet.

“Anchoring the dining room is a large-scale photography print by Juergen Teller, whose work was in the original Mirador space when it opened in Dallas in 2016.” The piece is titled, Food No.102.

Art was curated by John Runyon of Runyon Fine Arts with pieces from the personal collection of Tim Headington which are also represented in the retail space of Forty Five Ten.

Café Mirador invites guests to linger, sip, and savor in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District.
