One of Arlington’s most photogenic neighborhoods is Interlochen. The annual light displays reflecting in canals are a wonder to behold. Interlochen Lights is celebrating its 50th year this Christmas. Neighbors have been decorating their houses and yards with Christmas lights and décor, making a much-loved and free Christmas light drive event.

Holiday in the Park celebrates its 40th year this season. From November 23 through December 31, Six Flags becomes a winter wonderland. There are twinkling lights and festive entertainment to get you and your crew in a very merry mood. This year, check out new shows, wintertime activities, and holiday treats. Texas Christkindl Market

The annual Christkindl Market brings a taste of Europe to town.

This marks the 15th Annual Texas Christkindl Market, a German-inspired Christmas market with vendors and entertainment, plus seasonal bites and drinks. The Market was inspired by the almost 70-year relationship between Arlington and its German sister city, Bad Königshofen. It’s a chance to escape to a European experience.

Back in Arlington for a second year, Frostival allows visitors to take plenty of pictures and capture the moment. Walk through sparkling holiday light displays, take a turn down the 200-foot holiday slide, and sip on hot cocoa. It’s from November 29 through December 28th at Howell Family Farms.

This downtown Arlington tradition features reindeer games for the kids. The parade begins at 6 pm on Saturday, December 13. Thousands of people will gather for the pageantry, which is followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree.
